l have a really really strong astigmatism prescription in my left lens,
this harming my wants to get colored contacts.

The FreshLook color contacts do not come in high degrees of astigmatism, so, l lose on that part.
(Plus to get conventional color lenses is about $100 EACH even for my ASTIGMATISM)

But I've been wearing these contact lenses for about two years straight,
should not my astigmatism be corrected by now?

CAN an astigmatism be corrected?
IF my astigmatism could be, and it was, WOULD ME DEGREE OF ASTIGMATISM BE LOWER ALLOWING ME TO GET THE COLORED CONTACTS?

l have really bad astigmatism too, and so far mine can not be corrected. The optometrist said they could try contact lenses, but it would cost anywhere between 500 and 600 dollars and even then they could not guaruntee that they would work. Just too much of a gamble for me. Just be glad you can even wear contacts, I've been stuck in glasses for about 35 years now.

Firstly you really need to take breaks from wearing contacts, l work in optics and l get to see all the rancid infections people end up with, as contacts do not allow as much oxygen to the eye as glasses. Astigmatism can be corrected with laser eye, around £1000 per eye but it does depend on your prescription, it would have helped if you had posted that as well.

astigmatism is a miss- shaped eye. instead of the eye being round it is almost football shaped.

wearing contacts will not change the shape of ur eye. there may be surgical options for u but they will be expensive. u can try laser correction surgery & then hope ur vision will be restored to almost perfect allowing u to get the coloured contacts with no prescription just the color.

l know it sucks l have it too..and so far l cant even get contacts to fit comfortable.
