l feel down the stairs and my two toes overextended and now my two toes are all swollen and purple. l went to the doctor and got xrayed. They found nothing wrong. l can bend my toes a little bit, but not too far without it hurting. How long does it take for the swelling to go away?
l can not remember if the doctor said it was sprained or just swollen, but when it heals will it look like normal or off.

with ice on it and it propped high and maybe some pills like advil the swelling will go down in no time.

Couple weeks. For an over extension l am not sure. My knuckle on my ring finger is bigger on my left hand than on my right. Funny thing is l did not even notice until l got sized for my class ring. So it went noticed for near 7 years. Injury happened when l was about 9 or 10.

So it might be slightly different, but probably not enough where you will notice it without scrutiny.

You must take advil and put ice on it to stop the swelling. It will go away in no time. By not using ice, you are only extending the time of recovery.
