l do not really understand my boyfriend. l like him a lot and he is very affectionate towards me but then he will sometimes say things that will make me upset. And sometimes he acts like there is something better going on than hanging out with me, but then other times he acts like all he wants to do is hang out with me and that he does not care about anything else. It does not make sense to me and makes me really frustrated but l like him so much l pretend it is not happening... l sometimes tell him that I am upset but then he will just start getting upset and talk about how he is not a good boyfriend and that he only wants to make me happy. l need help l dont know what to do

is this his first real or serious relationship? sounds like he is conflicted cause hes not used to having a gf. best thing to do would be to allot some time, sit down together and talk about everything, just put all the truth out there, but most importantly, dont blame/stress yourself about it, its his behavior, not yours! good luck!

How many times have u told him this already? And he still plays the poor me card when u call him on it? Sounds a little manipulative, even if he does not realize that it is.

Break it off & be single for awhile or start hanging out with ur own friends more often. Do not wait around for him to decide if u two will be getting together or if he is going out without you. You might care about him, but it is obvious that he does not return that same affection.

Maybe after he sees that u have a life outside of ur relationship with him he will begin to make the relationship more of a priority. If he doesn't, then u have ur answer.
