In the beginning of may 2008, l was diagnosed with 3 stress fractures in my shins, 2 in my left one in my right. For about a week and half l was on complete crutches and did not walk on it at all. Then for about 3 months l used a walking boot in my left and my right was now better. l started to run again around the end of june, and it really hurt so l went back to boot. l wore the boot all summer and by september it was perfect. l started swim team in september and it hurt again and l went back to the boot, then the boot made it really hurt so l stopped and wore a bandage that you use for a sprained ankle, until the end of the month, then l got a real brace that has more support and have been wearing that for about 2 weeks, now all the sudden it hurts like it did in may,.

Please help me, if you have any suggestions any at all l would like to hear them.

can be a number of things, age, calcium, weight and enough rest. you have 3 fractures, your body has to work over time to heal. l would totally not go jogging, the reason for the pain again. Jogging seriously stresses the shins. Light walking fine. Swiming is fine. It can take a year to heal. Do not even bother trying to jog again this year, rest, rest, be patient and make sure you keep your appointments with your doctor.
