This happened on WED. at my work! Now they are not super deep but they did bleed and yesterday l noticed that the scabs on them were yellow, l have been keeping it clean with antibacterial soap and the scabs on day one were red just like blood, so is this something l should be worried about! Also, l was ill last night and slept like 15 hours, l had a very small fever! l just wanna know what l need to do!

there is redness around the sores but it is more like a pink! l mean work will have to pay for it and they wo not get me in to the doctor until monday!

The cat could have rabies. I'd go to the doctor and ask them.

you should be fine, and the yellow is most likely just bruising.

l would go to the ER and work can pay for that! Have you had a tetanus shot in the last 10 years. Get one if you haven't. Since you've now had a fever l would not wait until Monday.

Keep it clean, take some Tylenol, apply a warm compress (hot water on washcloth) to increase local circulation to promote healing. If it does not become increasingly red/sensitive around the bite site you will be fine.

Please note all hypochondriacs, that cats are not a frequent carriers of Tetanus or rabies. Also, as a regular customer to her business, this cat is even less a risk.
