l work at an entertainment facility, so the floors are all hard. Sometimes l have to jog a bit to get things done, but most of the time I am speed walking or standing in place. l heard Dr. Scholls just feels nice for the first couple hours and then they are useless. l work 6-8 hour shifts. What would you suggest l use?

Hi- l feel ur pain! I've been a bartender for many (many) years, so keeping my feet & back happy r pretty important. l went to an orthopedic specialist because l have slightly fallen arches, & he recommended l try Superfeet, which r essentially as good as prescription insoles, but only cost $30-40 instead of $250. l love them, & wear them in everything. The problem with things like Dr Scholls is they offer cushioning, but not proper support. Superfeet r firmer, & l find they really make a difference, & they last for months, so they r cheaper in the long run. They're pretty easy to find; call around to some orthotics shops , shoe stores, & even some athletic chains might have them. Money well spent!

Use answer number one,cause I've been on my feet for years,waiting tables and helping to run resteraunts, l know a lot of people in that type of work.We just wear what ever we find to be the most comfortable for us.Just good shoes. After a while when you get use to it your feet wont hurt like that.Do not waste a lot of money unless you need to.
