a netball like crused my middle finger when it was bent
i went to the school nurse and it had swollen and bruised in like 5mins
so after school l went a&e but no fracture showed on x ray
yet my finger is still swollen and a blueish green colour on the other side
what may have happened?
also its on the knuckley bit near the tip end
and l cant bend or straighten or apply pressure to it
when l do make a fist after bending about half way it feels real tight and like somethings going to snap

youve probally just sprained it but quite badly l did that to my thumb just keep it still and supported and it will heal propally if you want to take something for the pain ibuprofen takes down swelling and stops it hurting arnica takes away burises

It is a bad bruise for one thing. Keep bathing it. Try hot water if that does not work try cold compresses. Actually cold compresses would be the best. You could have pulled the guide between the joints.
See the doctor if it goes on too long.
