1.explain how scratching an itch can be considered an example of negative feedback.Be sure to explain what negative feedback is and be specific about each part of the homeostatic mechanism. (for example what is the receptor..?) not just the definition, but the receptor in this specific situation.)
2.Discuss the physiological and anatomical relationships between muscles and bones and the physiological realtionship between cardiovascular and respiratory systems.
3.A jogger has stepped in a pothole and sprained his ankle.what systems have suffered damage?(there are a couple..explain) 4.)Jennie fell off her motorcycle and tore a nerve in her axillary region. She also tore ligaments in her cervical and scapular regions an broke the sole bone of her right brachial region. Explain where each of her injuries are located
5.Use directional terminology to describe these relationship:
Throat to esophagus in humans>_____________________________ Heart to lungs>________________________________ Throat to esophagus in cats ________________________ Ear to eye>________________________ Hair to skeletal muscle>_____________________ Abdomen to thorax>_______________ Thumb to ring finger>______________________
6.)Which plane would be involved? The magician sawing his lovely assistant in half _________________ The amputation of the arm at the shoulder___________ The tip of the nose being cut off ______________ The optometrist checking the distance of each eye from the nose____________

2. A muscle is attached to each end of long bones so that when the muscle contracts & shortens, the bone is pulled towards or away from the body causing (arm or leg for example to move) When the muscle relaxes, the bone moves back to resting position.
The cardiovascular & resp systems r closely connected. The pulmonary artery returns deoxygenated blood directly to the lungs. All other arteries extend from the heart to the rest of the body & veins return blood from the body to the heart except the pulmonary vein. It carries oxygenated blood from the lungs to the heart
#4 axillary--armpit cervical--neck scapular---shoulder brachial - lower arm (sole?)
Hope this helps
