l have always had an average blood pressure120/76 (give or take) but recently it has been reading 92/61.What is happened?

eat more salt

could be a number of things, most often it is lack of adequate water intake, or lack of adequate nutrient minerals like salt and potassium. Suggest if you have any symptoms with that pressure, like dizziness or increasing fatigue, that you need to see your doctor.

Go to the doctor straight away, this type of low blood pressure (hypotension) is often caused by infection of some sort and you should get it checked out.
Also, eat more iron possibly if there is no infection, but low blood pressure can be just as dangerous as high blood pressure.
Have you been under emotional stress recently?
Or in an accident?
if not, then:
Go to the doctor!

See the doc if it ai not right tomorrow. l had such a drop after major surgery:you may not be fit to drive, you probably are,but check!

hypotension, how many times have u taken it at this reading??? Try again next week if it is still the same then u could do with going for a check up with ur doctor. Try temporarily adding a bit more salt, & sugar to ur diet & see if this helps a bit, before u do ur next reading, but do not overdo it as this may be detrimental to ur health.
l have the opposite prob my bp usually 120/70 has over the past 3 weeks been 185/85 & l am only 28 yrs old, so going to the doctors next week as l am concerned.

l think in these cases if it concerns u always see ur doctor about it even for reassurance, if nothing else.

most of the time it has to do with our diet!do you eat well lately?a lot of fruits, vegetables and occasionally meat because you need iron, to form blood, that comes from red meat!be careful with the salt matter because it may raise your blood pressure but it may be too much or harm your kidneys or other side effects.
better go to see your doctor and have a blood test!

There are many different possibilities, including those mentioned before.

Are you using an electric BP Cuff?

That could be what is causing the reading. They can be very innacurate at times. Try having someone take your BP with a manual cuff & stethoscope.

Have you recently started taking any new meds?

That could also cause it.
