Okay, for a few days l have been having chest pain on and off. Especially at night and in the middle of my chest. l do have some pain my shoulder. But l doubt its a heart attack.

Also my brother who is 12 years old complained of chest pain the same type as me a few days ago. Why does he have chest pain should we take him to DR as well? My mom does not wanna take us if its not serious, since doctors cost so much and we do not have insurance right now.
Its good that a medical personel answered. Actually, he started before me. But I've been feeling kind of ill for the past week. Its not severe, just a discomfort.
Hehe, yeah that is true. When l fell and seperated my shoulder, the first doctor said it was fine, the second doctor said it was a severe seperation. Believe me my mom paniced and called 911 when l fell cause l hit my head and she was afraid of head injury, costs us alot of money for a ride in the Ambulance.

It is strange that u would both have chest pain at the same time. Let me offer one theory that might offend you, even though l am really not trying to do that.

My guess is that u complained of the pain first, u told ur mom & ur brother heard or found out somehow. l am not saying ur brother is a liar but l will say that l have seen plenty of kids, especially pre-teens, that will try to gain attention by saying they r having medical problems. Again, i'm not trying to offend u but l have been on alot of calls for kids right around that age that complain of severe pain, their parents call 911, we arrive on scene, & they instantly feel better.

It is just really strange for both of u to be having the same pain. Anyway, l wouldnt worry about it right now. If u have trouble breathing or start having severe pain, call 911. Healthy childrens & teens bodies r very very adaptable & have very strong immune systems.

A few months ago l had really bad chest pain. l do not know if it the same as what u r talking about. It hurt constantly & even more if l breathed, laughed or twisted. The pain was in the middle & a little to the left. It lasted for about two weeks. l did not see a doctor & l am still alive. If it lasts for too much longer u might want to consider seeing a doctor. l however have never had much luck with doctors, they can never figure out what is wrong or fix it. Doctors r generally a waste of time & money because u leave with nothing fixed.

do not sleep on your left side or on your tommy. sound highly unlikely to be a heart problem. maybe some growing pain. l had lots of it. you do not need to go to ER. get an appointment with a doctor and go to the office. there are free clinics available everywhere.

l think ur shoulder pain is what is giving u the chest pain. The 12 year old, it is hard to tell. One thing l know for sure. Heart problems will make ur back hurt & at the same time, back pain will make ur chest hurt. Everything is connected to nerves & if one is being pinched or touched,it will travel to something else connected to the same nerve. Gall Stones in the gall bladder will radiate pain to the chest & u will think u r having a heart attack. Gas pains will do the same thing, maybe ur brothers problem. Give him some Gas x & see if it helps. You need to have Mom put some moist heat on ur shoulder, then massage it while applying some Aspercreme. Take a towel, soak it with hot water, ring it out then lay it over ur shoulder. Do several towels until the skin begins to turn slightly red, then massage & apply the cream. See if that helps you.
