i've been popping my wrist for 5-6 years now and a few days ago it started to hurt and after putting pressure on it for about 10 min yesterday it hurts a ton and l keep having to pop it to try to quit the bones grinding together so l can move it without pain but sometimes it does not work and it is annoying painful and inconvenient. what is wrong???

u probably have carpal tunnel but do not worry! it is fixable. if u have a wrap thing to wrap around it just wrap it in a possition where it feels confortable & make sure ur bone is not all twisted up. u can prevent that from doing trying not to move that hand & keep it in just one place. u can move it once a while but do not move it like u would crack it =/
(if u do not have a wrap ask a doctor for a wrist brace & im sure they will give u one GOOD LUCK! & BTW do not crack ur wrist anymore! & do not put anymore presure on it! if u have anything to ask that l did not list just tell me & l will be sure to help u with that!

stop putting pressure on it. & yes to kill pain temporarily ice it. what u want to do is massage ur forearm. those muscle r probably as tight as rubber bands. Carpal tunnel syndrome comes about when ur muscle in ur forearm r so tight that the tendons inflame(tendinitis) & pinch ur median nerve which all run through the Carpal Tunnel (those doctors sure know how to name there syndromes,lol) the surgery actually cuts the flexor retinaculum (tendon that makes up the roof of the carpal tunnel) but doesnt address the cause of the problem just the symptom. So worse comes to worse, go see a Massage Therapist (not a massuse)
