l can move it a little but till certain point then it hurts really bad. please any suggestion l play lots of sports and l need my thumb.

Talk to your doctor about what kind of PT you need to get it more mobile.
Your thumb is going to ache as you start using it again. Take some ibuprofen or naproxyn to decrease the pain. If that does not work, then talk to your doctor. Use ice 20 minutes on, 40 minutes off to also decrease pain.
