The optometrist lady said that it will be ready in 1 and a half months . l thinks thats way too long considering that l need them for school . l livew in Seattle WA . My glasses are nothing special . just glasses for a nearsighted person. Is there any chance that it will come a little earlier ?

A week is the usual, two weeks tops. The optometrist sends ur frames to a place where they cut & polish the lens to ur prescription & sends the glasses back to the doctor. Ask the doctor why they can not do it in the normal period of time. The bad news could be that they have not paid their bill to the lens people & can not get anything processed until they catch up on their payments, or maybe the doc is just holding ur money for other bills they have & wo not send ur glasses out for fixing for a month.
